This course is designed to meet the growing demand for trained welders in our area. The course will train students in basic welding skills and provide industry-recognized certifications.Through a balance of classroom and lab time, the program introduces students to a number of skills used in commercial settings, including basic welding, employability, OSHA safety, and various core skills enhance the student’s ability to enter the career field.  

Program modules will include, but are not limited to:

• welding symbols,

• oxyfuel cutting,

• plasma cutting,

• weld quality,

• green technology, 

• employability,

• job search assistance.

• NCCER

• OSHA 10

• AWS D1.1
