ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Program Details
This customized training program will span 18 weeks and provide students up to four certifications upon completion. In this program, students will learn:
How to use specialty broadband tools and test equipment,
Terminations for cable, phone, computer and network applications
Safe techniques for bucket trucks, ladders, highway safety, and confined work spaces
Broadband equipment installation for home, office, new construction, and more!
The Broadband Infrastructure Training program is approved by the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) and is brought to you by the 5G Section Partnership that consists of The Ohio State University, Columbus State University, Jobs and Family Services - Franklin County, and the Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation.
The first cohort of students in the Broadband Infrastructure Training Program may qualify for FREE TRAINING thanks to the Franklin County Jobs & Family Services (JFS). Eligibility is based on financial and employment-related need, and financial aid applications are handled directly by JFS. Once you fill out the form below, a Pickaway-Ross Enrollment Specialist will contact you and help you along each steps of the enrollment process.
