    Three seniors will get a boost paying college tuition thanks to scholarships from the Pickaway-Ross Teachers Association.
    Taylor Arndt (from left), Anna Betts and Elizabeth Kisner were selected for scholarships based on their essays and teacher recommendations.
     Taylor, who completed the Visual Communication & Design program (Circleville), plans to pursue a Criminal Justice certification at Shawnee State.
     On one of her recommendations, a teacher cited Taylor’s focus “on being the best student she can be.”
     Anna Betts, Auto Collision Repair (Adena), plans to attend Ohio University to study business and management.
     Elizabeth Kisner, Law & Public Safety (Chillicothe), plans to study Criminal Justice at Columbus State and then continue her education at Ohio University. Her career goal is to be a victim advocate.
     On one of her recommendations, a teacher wrote, “I appreciate her love for learning and commitment to her education.”
