Pickaway-Ross students once again proved their skill and dedication at the SkillsUSA Ohio State Championships, held March 18-19 in Columbus. After advancing from regional competition, five students represented the school at the state level, competing in a variety of technical and leadership events alongside the best career-technical students from across Ohio.
Daniel Garabedian, competing in Precision Machining, earned a gold medal, taking home first place in his category and marking a major achievement for Pickaway-Ross.
Abbi Wells, a senior in RAMTEC, continued her strong performance by placing third in Technical Math, earning a bronze medal at the state competition.
Also representing Pickaway-Ross at state were:
Luke Woods – Collision Repair Technology
Ethan Salisbury – Carpentry
Millane Berry – Prepared Speech
Each student demonstrated the professionalism, technical knowledge, and hands-on skills at the heart of career-technical education.
SkillsUSA provides students opportunities to grow their leadership, technical, and workplace skills through competition and career development experiences. For Pickaway-Ross students, these competitions are not just contests — they’re stepping stones toward real-world careers.
Congratulations to our students on a job well done!
